This year’s Festival is sponsored by the Department of Tourism and Leisure.

"Our thanks to everyone who has worked so hard to make the 2006 Manx Heritage Flower Festival a success."

GET THE WOW! FACTOR ....

WOW! – that’s the message from the Flower Festival Task Force Leader Cindy Quirk ......

Sixteen Churches and Chapels to visit, a photographic competition, a treasure hunt,  flower displays to knock your socks off, unique concerts and lots of lovely home-made goodies!  These are just some of the wonderful things on offer at this year’s Manx Heritage Flower Festival. It is always refreshing to see how many different interpretations to the theme there are each year; it never ceases to amaze us where people get their inspiration.

Make sure you take your camera out with you to capture that “moment in time” shot and collect your Treasure Hunt competition entry forms from participating churches.

One thing we would like to draw your attention to is the closing times of various churches.  Sadly, not all Churches are able to remain open for the full Festival so please check opening times carefully before you set out. On behalf of the Task Force - Our thanks to everyone involved at every level – we hope you enjoy “Set my people Free”

P.S. Just in case you were wondering …… the 2008 dates are 6th – 13th July (Sunday to Saturday) and the theme will be “Hope Springs Eternal”

A LITTLE BIT OF INFORMATION TO HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST OF THIS WEBSITE ..... you can take a "virtual tour" of the 16 Churches and Chapels taking part in this year's Festival, by clicking on "Virtual Tour 2007" in the menu opposite.

If any of this year's Churches and Chapels have other pages here, relating to their participation in previous Flower Festivals, you'll find links to enable you to quickly access  these pages, too

Details of special events, displays and concerts in individual Churches, plus information about refreshments, has been added to each Church page - but keep checking regularly - more news will be added whenever we receive it.

KEEP VISITING THIS SITE FOR ALL THE LATEST FESTIVAL NEWS ....

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST  - HAVE A GREAT FESTIVAL WEEK !
